Vascular surgery

Vascular surgery is a specialized field of medicine focusing on the diagnosis and treatment of diseases affecting the vascular system, which includes arteries, veins, and lymphatic vessels. Vascular surgeons perform a variety of procedures to treat conditions such as atherosclerosis, aneurysms, varicose veins, and peripheral artery disease. These procedures can be minimally invasive, like angioplasty and stenting, or more complex surgeries, such as bypass operations and endarterectomies. The goal of vascular surgery is to restore normal blood flow, alleviate symptoms, prevent complications, and improve overall patient health and quality of life.
